The air traffic control tower (ATCT) is the airport facility in which air traffic control is conducted. Air traffic controllers in the tower are normally equipped with: Radios for communication with aircraft, linked to headsets or to microphones and speakers A telephone system that connects dedicated voice lines and public telephone lines via quick-dial systems to controllers' headsets, allowing them to talk to other controllers and outside parties

Some airports are large; some are small; some are growing. The Liberty-STAR VCS can be sized and scaled to suit every situation. For small airports, one or two Liberty-STAR positions may suffice. For larger airports, many more positions can be provided. At airports where the communications needs are growing, our modular design means the communication system will grow as you do, without the need to remove and replace installed equipment.
